Current Manual Workflow:
- Staff attendance logs are exported weekly from the biometric system
- An HR assistant manually compiles and formats the data in Excel
- Reports are then uploaded to the internal HR dashboard
Automation Implementation:
- Develop a scheduled Python script or Power Automate workflow to extract attendance logs from the biometric database
- Automatically compile, format, and generate summary reports (per department, employee, time trends)
- Automatically upload the reports to the SayPro HR dashboard and notify HR via Slack/Email
