Good morning to our SayPro team, valued partners, healthcare professionals, and most importantly, our incredible nurses.
It is a great honor to stand before you today on National Nurses Day 2025, a day dedicated to recognizing the strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication of nurses everywhere. As SayPro’s Chief Strategic Partnership Officer, I spend much of my time forming collaborations that strengthen healthcare delivery—but today, I want to speak about the most important partnership we have—the one we share with you, our nurses.
Through the Centre for Medical Resources (CMR), we’ve seen firsthand that no partnership, policy, or program can succeed without the leadership, expertise, and heart of nursing professionals. Nurses are not only caregivers; you are educators, advocates, mobilizers, and change-makers. You are the bridge between healthcare systems and the communities we serve.
In 2025, as we expand SayPro’s strategic partnerships across borders and sectors, you remain at the center of our vision. Because we know that when we invest in nurses, we build stronger health systems, resilient communities, and sustainable progress.
Here’s how we are committing to this vision:
- We are creating multi-sector alliances to fund more training, mentorship, and innovation opportunities specifically for nurses
- We are partnering with international organizations to ensure greater mobility and global recognition of African nursing qualifications
- We are launching the SayPro Nursing Exchange Program, allowing nurses to share knowledge, skills, and experiences across partner regions
- And we are strengthening our collaboration with government and NGOs to ensure policy advocacy for nurses is backed by strategic influence and actionable resources
Our partnerships are only as strong as the people they serve—and no one exemplifies strength, reliability, and compassion more than you. You are not just stakeholders in our work—you are co-creators of every milestone we achieve.
